Despite its common name, Gotu Kola Herb is not related to the kola nut, contains no caffeine and has no stimulant properties. Quite the contrary, it actually has calming properties. Gotu Kola supports memory, brain function, wound healing and the adrenals.
Gotu Kola Herb is native to the tropical regions of Asia and Africa, particularly Sri Lanka and Madagascar. Traditionally, the leaves of such herbs are dried and steeped in order to create a tea or infusion.
Brewing Guide: Infuse 1 teaspoons in 8 ounces of boiling water. Cover and allow to steep for 3-4 minutes.
